Summer 2010
Tanner Trigg
(former student) is playing xylophone for the third summer with the World Champion Phantom Regiment Drum and Bugle Corps. He also serves as section leader of the front ensemble for this season.

Zach Ogles
has shipped off to play vibraphone with Crossmen Drum and Bugle Corps from San Antonio, Texas.


Spring 2010
North Mesquite Percussion
performed at the Texas State Solo & Ensemble Contest in Pflugerville. Zachary Ogles (Dr. Gradus ad Parnassum - Debussy) and David Hatteberg (Restless - O’Meara) both played for Dr. Brian West from TCU and earned ONES. The Wind Ensemble (Identity Crisis - Aukofer) earned a ONE from Dr. Thomas Burritt from UT. The Symphonic Band (Katraterra - Casella) earned a ONE from Mark Ford from UNT. Great day for the Stallion Percussion Section!

Kirby Welch
has made a ONE on his solo at the Region 3 Solo/Ensemble Contest.

North Mesquite Percussion
had a great day at the Region 3 Solo/Ensemble Contest with all three percussion ensembles earning a ONE and five students qualifying to play their solos at the Texas State Solo/Ensemble Contest.

Zach Ogles
from North Mesquite is going to be a member of the 2010 Crossmen front ensemble.


Fall 2009
Kirby Welch has made the TX Region 3 ATSSB Concert Band.

Jake Remington
competed in the Belgium Marimba Competition and advanced to the 2nd round.

North Mesquite Drumline
earned Outstanding Cymbal Line at the Lone Star Classic Drumline Contest for our division.

Jake Remington
(former student) has moved to London to study at the Royal Academy of Music. He also jumps across the channel to study with Eric Sammut at the Paris Conservatory on occasion.


Summer 2009
Zach Ogles attended the Leigh Howard Stevens Marimba Seminar at Plano High School.

Lauren Hall is attending Tyler Junior College this fall where she will be studying percussion and voice.

Joel May (former student) is moving to Houston to teach percussion in the Katy ISD.

Tanner Trigg (former student) is playing xylophone again this summer with the World Champion Phantom Regiment!

Jose Guttierrez is the center snare for the Boston Crusaders this summer.

Spring 2008
Nick Rothouse earned Outstanding Soloist at the TX State Solo/Ensemble Contest as a freshman with his performance of Rotation II by Sammut.

Kyle Bible (former student) earned a spot in the TX ATSSB All-State Band. Keep it up!

Pravin Boteju (former student) earned 1st chair in the TX All-State Band. Way to go!!

Fall 2006
Trinity High School Percussion Ensemble presented an International Showcase Concert at PASIC 2006 in Austin, TX under my direction. The program included works by Samuels/D'Rivera, Rice, McClure, & Burritt.


Spring 2006
Trinity High School Percussion Ensemble is awarded the amazing opportunity to play a PASIC Showcase Concert this fall in Austin!

Colty Harrison
earned 4th chair in the TX All-State Band. Excellent work!!

Fossil Ridge Drumline earned 5th place Marching and Best Snare Line at the Lone Star Classic Drumline Contest.
